What time should I get there?
The doors open at 11:30 pm and we’ll begin the General Prize Drawings at about 1:00. When you sign in at the registration table your name will go into the basket for the General Prize Drawings! If you have pre-registered, we’ll have your survey partially printed for you. The first winners will be drawn from the first brides that arrive. When your name is called go to the Prize Board to pick your prize then go to the vendor to get the actual prize. Grand Prizes (anything over $250) will be at 2:30 pm when all the Brides/Couples have filled out and turned in their surveys.
Do guys attend bridal shows?
Absolutely! There is a growing trend of guys wanting to be part of the wedding planning process! Most recently, couples are planning a couple's day out at our bridal shows. They’re extending the invite to the show to their entire wedding party to celebrate their engagement and upcoming wedding. Let the party begin!
I went to my first bridal show and loved it! Is there a reason that I should go to another show?
Attending more than one show is all about choices! There is always a variety of wedding professionals at each show. Some brides have shared that they needed to go to 2-3 shows to gather the info needed to plan their weddings. Some brides will travel more than an hour to go to a show. A bride recently told us that attending a bridal show was a really fun day out for she and her mom, sisters, sisters-in-law and the girls in the wedding party!
Do I have to be there to win prizes?
Yes, you do need to be present to win prizes. There is always so much to see and do at each show that the time goes by very quickly. At the show you’ll be meeting the wedding professionals and gathering info from each one. We usually have musicians playing and you’ll see the latest in fashions. At most shows we have a cake cutting and a bouquet toss. The Grand Prizes are drawn at the end of the show and have been referred to as the icing on the cake!
